As a DMM Energy Fuel Sales Representative, you will work to actively seek sales growth opportunities through new and existing customers in your sales territory. Our Sales Representatives focus on developing win-win proposals for customers, while building strong relationships in the community.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports directly to Chief Sales Officer.

  • Operationally collaborates with Regional Manager to ensure safe deliveries and any customer concerns are addressed.

  • Collaborate with all departments to develop territory and present opportunities and/or offers to customers.

  • Develop and build relationships with existing and prospect customers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will include, but not be limited to the following:

SALES ACTIVITIES

  • Actively seeks new sales growth opportunities with existing and potential customers.

  • Develops proposals for customers, using DMM’s tools and programs to close opportunities.

  • Actively monitors market conditions and competitive environment and reports findings, including pricing intel to management.

  • Manage any initial customer complaints and escalate to management for support.

  • Represents DMM in Industry events such as Trade Shows, Conferences, etc.

  • Working with Pricing team to ensure customer margins are satisfactory.

  • Works to exceed overall customer’s satisfaction.

 

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Helps provide input to management for annual sales plan.

  • Maintains a sales opportunity pipeline and periodically reviews with management.

  • Contributes to planning sessions for next steps associated with territory growth.

 

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP

  • Shows initiative for supporting team members and provides back-up to peers during their vacation period.

  • Keeps a high level of respect and care for customers and co-workers at all times.

 

 OPERATIONS AND SAFETY

  • Follow all health and safety company and clients standards and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Previous fuel experience in agriculture and construction industry is considered an asset.

  • A strong customer focused mindset.

  • Superior time management skills.

  • Self-starter who is willing to work independently, and as a team.

  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.

  • Confident in making cold calls, networking and generating sales opportunities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
